THE SIBAYA COASTAL PRECINCT

The Sibaya Coastal Precinct is the first of its kind in South Africa and has fast become the best performing precinct in the country with property price growth having risen by as much as 40% in the last 3 years. The Sibaya Coastal Precinct presents a unique fusion of conservation and protected natural assets, with cutting edge property development.

Within the precinct are 7 nodes; 2 of these nodes will be dedicated residential nodes and as such will encompass gated estates of differing types. The other 5 nodes will demonstrate the mixed-use nature of the precinct to include residential, commercial and retail amenities. Although 2 of the nodes are dedicated residential nodes, they are still as connected to the precinct as anywhere else within, and with that offer great accessibility and convenience.

Some of the developments within the precinct are perfectly placed to offer residents the opportunity to walk a few hundred metres from their homes to reach the retail piazza. Sibaya will include several retail outlets throughout, with the most notable being the modern retail piazza which will be designed to encourage interaction with its boulevard-type feel, European-esque atmosphere and mix of cafés, shops, supermarkets and other convenience shopping outlets.

As a place ideally designed for family life, other amenities within the precinct include a private school operated by one of the country’s premium education providers, ADVTech. This institution will offer schooling from Grade R through to Matric, while the private university which is slated for development, will provide for up to 3000 students. A sports complex will be located in Node 1 which includes a rugby/soccer pitch and other sporting facilities. Residents of, and visitors to the precinct will also benefit from the medical suites, plethora of restaurants and retail outlets within.

As it stands, in five short years, the Sibaya Coastal Precinct has already achieved over R4 billion is sales, it is home to the fastest selling retirement estate in KwaZulu-Natal to date, and has already introduced 9 exceptional residential developments.
